Background
I designed the electronics and the mechanical assemblies for a 4channel power supply used with Aspinity’s AML100 ATE Production Tester.
The ATE hardware is comprised of 4 channels each used for simultaneous characterization and production testing of Aspinity’s AML100 ultra low power analog sensing IC. We wished to (a) inject clean power into each channel and (b) protect the communication from the host PC (since we were dealing with sensitive analog signals). The 4-ch PSU consists of a main board (employing USB isolator chips for data integrity) as well as DC/DC power supplies to provide clean power to the ATE.
Additionally, I designed the face plate for the rack mount enclosure and had it fabbed.
