Premise

With a rise in demand for sleek, minimalist exercise equipment and accessories, Equinox tasked Deeplocal with creating an aesthetically pleasing smart scale for use in its gyms. The smart scale provides users with various health metrics such as weight, heart rate and BMI.

My Role

I designed a PCB and wrote firmware to control LED rope light that project light in sync with various animations and patterns displayed on the screen. I also specced components and prototyped mechanical assemblies.
