AML100-DEV-1 (2023)

Background

I designed a platform to enable machine learning algorithm development by Aspinity’s ML engineers. The platform came in two variants and is based around Aspinity’s AML100 (installed on either a plug-in daughterboard or in a spring-loaded test socket) and an STM32H7. Onboard memory allowed for signal synthesis. The board also featured a USB connection for interfacing via python scripts and a physical prototyping area so that a user could add and experiment with various external sensors.

In addition to board design, I also wrote test firmware for bringup and python scripts for interfacing.
