Background

I designed all the electronics and mounting assemblies for a smart glasses demo showing off ultra-low power wakeword detection (“Alexa!”) using Aspinity’s AML100. The prototype used the AML100-REF-1 Mini and a small rechargeable lithium coin cell battery. The Smart Glasses consumed < 100uA and was able to last for a few days on a single charge.

Additionally, I designed all the mechanical assemblies and iterated on a series of 3D printed prototypes.
